City of Santa Cruz, CA Adds Fee to ‘Disposable’ Cups
Plastic Pollution Coalition members pushed Santa Cruz, CA to approve changes to the Food Packaging ordinance to include a .25¢ disposable cup charge and to extend the .25¢ charge to ToGo foodware.

Benioff Ocean Initiative Tackling Plastic Pollution in Rivers
Nine river clean-up programs across the world have been selected to receive a total of $11 million over the next three years as part of a partnership between The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Benioff Ocean Initiative at UC Santa Barbara’s Marine Science Institute. Read more.
