This isn't the news I wanted to share, but it's important to me that you stay in the loop: we did not reach our February fundraising goal.

I know this team gave it our all, and when we set ambitious goals we run the risk of coming up short — but we'll have to really step up our game in March to get back on track to invest in key campaign resources.

With the first FEC filing deadline of the year at the end of the month, we cannot afford to show Republicans any signs of weakness. In addition to sending a message to the Republicans trying to flip my seat RED in their efforts to hold the House majority, strong fundraising at this point in the campaign allows us to invest in the critical resources we need to run a strong campaign.

Anything you can contribute right away to get March off to a strong start will mean so much to my whole team and make a real difference in our fight to keep this seat BLUE.
