Hi John,
In the last two decades, the world has made incredible progress in the
fight against HIV/AIDS in large part due to PEPFAR (the US President’s
Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief). Since the bipartisan program was
launched, 25 million lives have been saved.
The numbers themselves are staggering, but here is the real impact of
PEPFAR: more birthday celebrations, more children with mothers and
fathers, more babies born HIV-free. We need just 2,000 more people to hit
our goal of 7,500 people speaking up in support of the fight against
HIV/AIDS. [ [link removed] ]John, will you be one of them?

The global fight against HIV/AIDS has made the world safer and people’s
lives more prosperous. PEPFAR not only fights HIV/AIDS, but helps build
resilient health systems in low-income countries so they can identify and
contain other viruses. Strengthening health systems helps ensure that
deadly outbreaks don’t reach America’s shores.
But this progress may soon start to unravel if PEPFAR is not reauthorized
this year. Even with tools at our disposal, the AIDS crisis is not over.
Join me in making sure life-saving programs like PEPFAR get the attention
that they need. [ [link removed] ]Add your name today.
