Plaskett for Congress

Friends,

The citizens of D.C., the Virgin Islands, and our territories are just as American as everyone else in this country. So why are we treated as second-class citizens?

Despite paying our fair share in taxes, we don’t have equal voting rights and representation in Congress. Even worse, people in the territories don’t have access to the same benefits as everyone else - such as Social Security and disability benefits.

That means our kids and seniors aren’t getting access to the resources they need.

Please, sign our petition today to demand statehood for D.C. and our territories!

ADD YOUR NAME

For more than 240 years, Americans have fought to expand our definition of “We the People.” Now it’s time to include all our citizens!

Passing statehood would finally give us equal representation in Congress and a meaningful voice in Presidential elections. It would end the system of taxation without representation and ensure we have access to the same benefits as every other American.

Will you please add your name to give the residents of D.C. and our territories a voice?

Thanks!

- Team Plaskett
