In the next few weeks, legislators will be having critical discussions about the state budget, and we need to ensure that climate and worker justice is a priority. 

Help us amplify the call of labor unions urging for climate investments and strong labor protections. It is urgent that we move to a sustainable economy,  but we need to do it in a way that doesn’t exploit workers, nor leave them behind.

Now is the time to pave the way for good green union jobs accessible to all throughout the green economy. Major labor unions are backing key proposals such as the Climate and Community Protection Fund and the Build Public Renewables Act. Yet, Governor Kathy Hochul has omitted key labor protections in many key sectors for workers. We must push back on this.
