When Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors went to the White House, President Biden reiterated his dedication to gun violence prevention, telling Coach Kerr directly: 

"I'm going to outlaw assault weapons."

And Kerr knowingly responded, “you’ve done it once.”

It's true, John: Brady helped then-Senator Biden craft the original assault weapons ban in 1994 that notably reduced mass shootings and weapons of war on our streets. But the NRA made sure the ban ended and gun massacres increased 183%. And this epidemic will continue to worsen if we don't do something.

President Biden and Steve Kerr – two gun safety champions – have both continually urged Congress to reinstate an assault weapons ban and they have the power to do so right now.
