We’re three days out from a crucial FEC reporting deadline, and that means my campaign (and a bunch of other Democratic campaigns) is going to be emailing you a lot over the weekend to reach our fundraising goal.
My campaign is scheduled to send EIGHT emails over the next three days! But here’s why:
Raising money through emails like this means I can do less “Call Time” phoning up supporters for donations, and instead, I can be actively engaged in fighting back against Trump’s dangerous agenda.

I wish as much as anybody that fundraising wasn’t such a significant part of my job as a Senator. But the reality is, fighting back on the ground against President Trump and his administration requires a lot of resources.
And FEC deadlines are so important because our fundraising numbers will be public on the FEC’s website after the deadline. National Republicans will be looking at it for any vulnerabilities in my campaign that they can exploit to defeat me. We can’t give them any signs.
