John,
You’ve heard what Don Lemon and Whoopi Goldberg have to say about me, but I want to tell you my story for myself. After you finish reading this, please consider chipping in a donation of any amount and join my team today.
I’m the proud daughter of legal immigrants. I grew up in a small town in South Carolina with two brothers and one sister. I started doing the books at my mom’s store at 13. My mom had an American flag painted on a ceiling in her store. She wanted everyone to know how much she loved this country. |
I’m a proud Clemson Tiger. After I graduated with my accounting degree, I worked in a corporate job before going back to work at my mom's small business. That’s where I saw firsthand how hard it is to make a dollar and how easy it is for the government to take it away. |
I was frustrated, but my parents always told me, “Don’t complain. Do something about it.”
So I did. I ran for the state house. No one thought I had a chance. The incumbent had been in office for nearly my entire life. A week before the primary election, I was only polling at 15%. I faced racist and sexist attacks, but I refused to give up. |

I knew that if I wanted to win, I had to reach out to people beyond my usual support base. So, I went to a biker bar and answered questions about motorcycle and gun rights. We started a conversation and I explained to them what I believed.
They not only voted for me, but also encouraged their friends and families to do the same. I won the district not just once, but two more times before deciding to run for governor, where I was once again considered the underdog.
At the beginning of my race for governor, I was only polling in the single digits and was considered a long shot. But I didn't let that discourage me. Even though I had very little money for ads, I got my message out and encouraged people to spread the word. I told them that if they weren't committing to vote for me that day, they should tell ten other people about my message.
I became the first female and first minority governor of South Carolina. But I didn't just win, I proved that I deserved to be there. |
|
I challenged the status quo in the state house and as governor and fought for legislation that would make a difference in all areas, from government transparency and voter ID laws, to strengthening the economy and championing education. |

I became governor when I was 38.
Michael and I had two young kids. Being governor was one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had. But it wasn’t easy. I had to balance the demands of the job, lead our state through historic floods and horrific tragedies, all while we raised our two young children. |
After I served as governor, I served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. I stood up for America on the world stage, fought for our allies, and held accountable those who didn't support us.

I’ve watched the American Dream unfold before me. I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough and America can be doing so much better.
|
|
As governor, I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, stood up for Israel even when others refused, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names. |

I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President. |

Nikki Haley is the daughter of Indian immigrants, a proud military wife, and the mom of two amazing children. She’s served as governor of the great state of South Carolina and as America’s ambassador to the United Nations…and she’s a grateful citizen who knows our best days are yet to come, if we unite and fight to save our country.
Nikki Haley is running for President because our country is on a path of doubt, division, and self-destruction, and we need a leader who has proven time and again that she can rise to the occasion, offer solutions, and focus on serving the people.
In order to build momentum and get Nikki’s message out, we need you on her side. Will you join Nikki’s team and pitch in a donation today?
Thank you in advance for your support.
Thank you,
Team Haley |
