Hi John,

Happy Women’s History Month! I am so grateful for all the strong women who came before me – who fought for the right to vote, who advocated for the right to make their own healthcare decisions, and who stepped up to be voices for the voiceless.

I am so proud to be the first Democratic woman to represent West Michigan in Congress, and it is not a responsibility I take lightly. While we’ve come such a long way in our fight for women’s rights, there is still a long way to go.

Since the conservative-majority Supreme Court’s decision last year to overturn Roe v. Wade, we’ve seen attacks on reproductive rights from state legislatures, GOP politicians, and courts all across the country. My promise to you is that I will always advocate for the equal rights of all the people of West Michigan.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Hillary
