As you may have heard, our team is up against the most important U.S. election of 2023 - Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court race - and friend, we’re all in for Janet Protasiewicz.

It’s hard to understate the stakes of this race. Soon, we’ll have a historic opportunity to rebalance Wisconsin’s Court - which could mean fair maps in a battleground state, abortion access in Wisconsin, and saving democracy nationwide.

Over these last two presidential cycles, the state Supreme Court has played an outsized role in shaping the electoral playing field and the powers of government in ways that have usually systematically advantaged Republicans in Wisconsin.

Just two years ago, in 2020, Donald Trump asked SCOWIS to illegally throw out tens of thousands of votes in Wisconsin’s most Democratic leaning areas. Thankfully, SCOWIS stopped him, but only by a slim 4-3 margin. Janet Protasiewicz has a track record of defending democracy rather than dismantling it like her MAGA opponent, Dan Kelly.

My team at WisDems is doing everything we can to support Janet’s campaign and uplift her campaign to victory, but we’re going to need supporters all across the nation to beat back Dan Kelly and his MAGA billionaire benefactors.
