LINCOLN, NE ??Nebraska?Governor?Jim?Pillen?announced his issuance?of?an executive order banning the state of Nebraska and its contractors from using communications equipment and services produced by?Huawei?Technologies,?ZTE?Corporation,?Hytera?Communications, Hangzhou?Hikvision?Digital Technology, and?Dahua?Technology and their subsidiaries and affiliates. Each of these companies are owned or controlled by the Chinese Communist Party and are on the Federal Communications Commission's Covered List, which includes companies that are considered a risk to national security.
