Did you know? Leaf blowers are MASSIVE polluters?

30 minutes of using a gas-powered leaf blower releases the same amount of hydrocarbon emissions as a pickup truck driving from Texas to Alaska. In addition to emitting greenhouse gases, leaf blowers lift chemicals and irritants like mold, heavy metals and animal feces into the air, damaging the lungs of those who breathe them. They also produce noise at decibels comparable to planes taking off! Might be time to take out the rake.
