Archery paddlefish?applications to be accepted March 1-14
Nebraska Game and Parks will accept archery paddlefish permit applications March 1-14.
The application period begins at 1 p.m. Central Time on March 1. Postal mail applications must be received in Game and Parks? Lincoln office by 5 p.m. CST and online applications by 11:59 p.m. March 14.

Attention turkey hunters:?The 2022 Fall Turkey Hunter Survey is now online! Survey results allow biologists to obtain accurate estimates of harvest and participation and allow hunters to provide feedback on the quality of their hunting experiences.

Register for Memorial Run to help boost mental health awareness, support state park trails
Registration is open for the Tyler Vanderheiden Memorial Run, an annual race aimed at raising awareness and understanding of mental health that also acts as a fundraiser for Nebraska Game and Parks state park trails.
The run is May 20, 2023, at Cody Park, 1899 US-83, North Platte. Participants may choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile distance and run in-person or virtually.

Game and Parks will certify youth fishing instructors across state
Nebraska Game and Parks will certify youth fishing instructors at workshops in five locations across the state in the coming months.
Instructors are part of the Youth Fishing Program, a statewide team of volunteers and Game and Parks staff who host educational fishing events.
