Hey John,
This is my first attempt at a Videos of the Week series for our subscribers! My hope is that these emails are short, shareable, and to-the-point. Always feel free to forward or share on social media.
Drag Story Hour is usually for kids at the library, but since the New York Times has decided to make it their personal mission to undermine transgender youth, GLAAD thought maybe the NYT needed this little story lesson themselves.
Take a moment to share the video from storytellers Ona Louise & Harmonica Sunbeam, and Jessica Herthel, the co-author of critically acclaimed children's book I Am Jazz, who authored Once Upon A New York Times!
Our #FreeThePill TikToks are gaining traction as we demand the FDA schedule a hearing to bring birth control over-the-counter.
Your eyes are not deceiving you. That is a 6-second TikTok with 628,000 views. Give us a follow!
New AMAZE Video Alert! Sextortion, sometimes called online "blackmail," is when a person threatens to share explicit (naked or sexual) images, private, or embarrassing information online, or threatens to harm someone if a person doesn’t follow demands. It's important to teach young people DOs and DON'Ts around what to share online, and this video can help explain.
Watch the Sextortion video here.
Also, note there was A LOT of interest in our Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month Watch Party! If you missed it live, you can watch it here.
Hope these videos are interesting and something you can share with friends, colleagues, or your community today!
