Dear Neighbor,
This week the Democrats from the U.S. House of Representatives are meeting in Baltimore for our 2023 Policy Conference - where we chart the course on priorities, approaches, and coalitions for this Congress. As I welcomed my Democratic colleagues to our 7th Congressional District of Maryland at a press conference yesterday, I assured them that the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of our District and the nation depend on the ability of Congress to put People Over Politics through 2024.
Whether it is economic, social, institutional, or systemic, the Democratic Party has both plans and objectives designed to help hardworking, everyday Americans better their lives. I was joined at the podium by Minority Leader of the House of Representatives Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Chair of the House Democratic Caucus Pete Aguilar (CA-33), Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus Ted Lieu (CA-36), Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Suzan DelBene (WA-01), Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn (SC-06), and Chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee Joe Neguse (CO-02).

Yours in service,
Kweisi Mfume Member of Congress
