We are excited to invite you to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s 2023 Lifesavers Gala. This special annual event – in which we honor those who have made important strides in the fight to stop suicide – will be held Thursday, May 4 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City!

From scientists researching innovative ways to save lives from this leading cause of death, to those who advocate for public polices that will prevent suicide, to loss and attempt survivors and others, the special people and groups we have honored at the Gala over the years have helped raise awareness, elevate public discourse, and create real change within our society.
