Dear John,

On January 27, 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published an updated soot pollution standard. The EPA's proposed soot standard is a step in the right direction, but is insufficient to address a huge problem - the persistence of soot pollution in our air that continues to harm our communtites and businesses. While the EPA proposed strengthening the standard, the proposal it released does not go nearly far enough and fails to meet the recommendations of the agency’s own scientific advisory panel.

A healthy economy starts with healthy communities. Stronger soot emissions regulation will support a healthier, more productive workforce and an overall stronger economy.

Please join us in urging the EPA to strengthen the soot ruling by filling out this comment form to have your comments sent directly to the EPA.

Thank you!
