Lisa Anderson | Director of Young Adults
A guest I’ve always wanted to interview but never had the chance is Elisabeth Elliot: author, speaker, missionary and widow of Jim Elliot, who was martyred in 1956 along with four friends along a river in Ecuador. When I started hosting “The Boundless Show,” Elisabeth already had dementia and had retired from ministry. This week, I get the next best thing. The president of the Elisabeth Elliot Foundation, Kathy Reeg (pictured here with Victoria and me), joins me to discuss Elisabeth’s heart, her legacy, and the wisdom she shared that still lives on today. We also talk about a long-lost manuscript of Elisabeth’s that was discovered after her death and has now been published. You’ll have to listen to the show for a special announcement about the book!
