I want to thank everyone who supported our campaign last month. Because of this team, we’re entering the last month of the quarter in a stronger place. 

Not only is March the final month of the quarter, it is also Women’s History Month! It may seem hard to believe now, considering how many women were elected in 2018, but when I first announced I was running for Congress a lot of people were skeptical. I thought my resume as a former Navy helicopter pilot, federal prosecutor, and mother of four made me a strong candidate. Yet, I was told, “Women don’t win in New Jersey.”

But the skeptics were plain wrong. In reality, when women run, we win at the same rates as our male counterparts. And women in New Jersey have made a great impact on government and politics for decades, all the way back to the suffragette movement led by New Jersey native Alice Paul.

Throughout my tenure in Congress, I’ve seen the impact of electing more women to government. With your continued support, we can defend seats like mine so I can keep fighting for your concerns down in Washington.
