John: A new poll released this week shows that nearly 7 in 10 Americans support state-level ballot measures to protect abortion rights. That means the majority of Americans are committed to protecting reproductive rights — but that hasn't stopped anti-choice Republicans from ramping up their attacks.
Former Vice President Mike Pence has said he would sign a national abortion ban as president and supports banning abortion pills. And a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas is currently considering whether to ban mifepristone — a safe medication used in abortions — for millions of Americans.
We can't stand by and let this happen. We know that the fight for reproductive freedom won't be easy — but with your support, we can fight back against anti-choice Republicans.
