John,
The Trump administration just announced the repeal of protections for half of America’s wetlands and millions of miles of streams.
Trump’s new rule — finalized today — eviscerates protections that have been in place for nearly 50 years. It’s even worse than we expected. A lot worse.
Trump’s vision is scary: Fragile wetlands will be plowed under to make way for development and construction. Dangerous, leaky gas pipelines will snake over and under your rivers and streams.
We’re ready to do everything we can to fight Trump’s attack on our clean water. We’ll fight in Congress, in court, in state legislatures, in the streets — whatever it takes. We need to act now.
You can help take the fight directly to Trump. By sending an emergency donation, you’ll be fighting to stop his latest attack on our rivers, lakes, wetlands, and drinking water!

When Trump first made his way into the White House, we knew we’d face vicious attacks on the environment. We knew that the Water of the U.S. rule put in place under President Obama was in trouble.
But this is worse than we expected. This rollback doesn’t just get rid of protections put in place under the Obama administration. It gets rid of protections that have been in place since the 1970s. Even government scientists appointed by Trump admit that the rollbacks put our waters and our communities at risk.1

We’re fighting with all we have to stop these attacks on our rivers, lakes, wetlands, and drinking water. Here’s what we’re doing to fight back:
* Holding the Trump administration and every representative in Congress who stands with him accountable for gutting our clean water protections.
* Pushing Congress to stop these rollbacks by passing legislation that affirmatively restores clean water protections.
* Using every legal avenue possible to challenge Trump and his rule in court.
* Organizing grassroots support around the country to convince governors and state legislatures to implement protections in place of the Trump rollbacks.
You're helping to stop Trump's EPA from allowing dirty factory farms to avoid critical environmental protections we all count on. Now you can stop him from poisoning our waters.
This is the biggest attack on our waterways in decades. Will you donate to help save our clean water?
