Jack, Republicans' game of Debt Ceiling "Chicken" just continues to be appalling.
“Failure to meet the government’s obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans and global financial stability,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned in her letter to Congress.
And yet causing that irreparable harm remains Republicans' exact intention.
