Here are some updates from the last few days.

Last night, Republican lawmakers in Georgia advanced a major piece of anti-voting legislation, which among other provisions bans drop boxes and eases voters’ ability to challenge other voters’ eligibility. The bill moved forward even though the state’s election director testified that it could violate federal law.

Failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (R) filed her appeal of her election contest to the Arizona Supreme Court — only a day later than she promised! Her contest was rejected by an appeals court on Feb. 16.

On Feb. 21, an “election integrity” group in California filed an amended complaint in a lawsuit arguing that California voting laws, regulations and guidelines that have created universal mail-in voting, opened online voter registration, allowed for community ballot collection, regulated poll observers and otherwise expanded voting are unconstitutional.
