It’s on us to make sure that every previous cosponsor — and any new Medicare for All supporters in Congress — signs on or back on to Medicare for All legislation.

NNU - Medicare for All!

By this point in the year, we were hoping to have an update for you on the timing of when to expect the re-introduction of Medicare for All legislation in the U.S. House and Senate.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact timeline just yet. However, we still expect to have more information in the coming months. And more importantly, we’ll need you to be ready to take action as soon as we know more.

It’s on us to make sure that every previous cosponsor — and any new Medicare for All supporters in Congress — signs on to Medicare for All legislation. We’ll need your help to make phone calls, write letters, post on social media, and more to put pressure on your legislators to sign on.

For now, sign up here to be the first to know and to be ready to take action when we know more about the Medicare for All bill re-introductions.

For every new session of Congress, Medicare for All legislation must be reintroduced in both chambers of Congress. When bills are reintroduced, members have to take the step to sign back on as original cosponsors — it doesn’t happen automatically.

When the time comes, we’ll need your help to make sure that your member of Congress signs on (or back on) as a cosponsor, and we’ll need your help to make sure that the reintroductions are as visible and powerful as possible. And in the meantime, we hope you’ll keep taking action with us on other critical work like our Patients Over Profits campaign.

We have a lot of work to do, and we need your help to continue pushing to gain new cosponsors in Congress, stand up to corporate influence in our politics, and more. We’ll be in touch soon with even more information on actions you can take.

In solidarity,

Nurses’ Campaign to Win Medicare for All
