CCL kicks off March campaign for monthly donors
This month, donate smarter, not harder, to Citizens' Climate.
Multiply your impact when you sign up to give monthly in March. If we
reach our goal of $10,000 in new monthly donations by March 31, we'll
unlock a $100,000 bonus gift!
But that's not the only reason donating to Citizens' Climate is a smart
investment. Being nonpartisan and committed to working with every
congressional office makes us the best-positioned grassroots group to
move climate legislation forward in a divided Congress. Make a monthly
donation to Citizens' Climate today.

If you have a little time: Check out this post on Instagram
The Senate Budget Committee's recent hearing explored climate-related
economic risks and their impact on the federal budget and the global
economy. Both Democrats and Republicans weighed in on how to tackle
climate change, spurring this comment

from Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) about carbon pricing.
If you have more time: Register for our June conference
Registration for our June conference is open! This year's conference
will be at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., from June 10-13
, and lobbying will take place on Capitol Hill. Seeing a huge group of
climate advocates filling congressional office buildings makes a major
impression on Congress and reminds them they aren't finished on climate
change. Take this opportunity to lobby in person and make the biggest
impact possible! Register now.

Featured Chapter: CCL Pasadena-Foothills
The Pasadena-Foothills chapter of CCL has been hard at work fighting
climate change locally across California and on the national level.
"We helped the Pasadena 100 coalition persuade the Pasadena City Council
to pass a resolution directing the Pasadena Water and Power Utility to
plan for 100% carbon-free energy by 2030," says group leader Sanford
Krasner. "We are very involved with actions to fight climate change at a
local level, as well as the federal level."
Sanford explains that he's proud of his CCL chapter for the connections
that they've made with other climate activists as they continue to do
work at the local and federal levels.
Great work, Pasadena-Foothills!

Correction: Last week, we reported that CCL Santa Cruz had given an
En-ROADS presentation to Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-19). They have not yet
done that, but are working toward it. Next month, they will present
En-ROADS to one of his staffers.
