Friend – Tomorrow, thousands of Americans will travel to our nation’s capitol to take part in the 47th annual March for Life. Held every year since the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion,
people from across the U.S. gather to show their support for every human life. As a father of seven, I know how important it is to protect the most vulnerable among us. That’s why, as a member of Congress, I have always
been and will always be 100 percent pro-life. During the 116th Congress, I have been proud to co-sponsor and support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This bill would ensure that babies who are born
alive after a failed abortion attempt receive appropriate medical care and a chance to fight for their lives. I have also co-authored a bill to defund Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider. There
is no other way to say it: our hard-earned tax dollars should not be used to fund abortions. And, just a few weeks ago, I – along with 206 of my colleagues in the Senate and the House – signed an Amicus Brief urging the Supreme
Court to defend life as it prepares to hear a case on hospital admitting privileges for doctors who perform abortions. I take pride in my voting record defending those who cannot defend themselves. As long as I am
in Washington representing Minnesota’s sixth district, I will do everything I can to be a voice for those who are most vulnerable and cannot speak for themselves. Sincerely,
