I won’t sugarcoat it, friend.

When my new opponent jumped into the Virginia Senate race earlier this month, this campaign got a heck of a lot tougher. At the same time, President Trump is convinced he can win Virginia next year, and we need to ramp up our efforts now so we don’t fall behind.

With a GOP opponent now in the race and the Trump campaign headquarters now open in Virginia, we can’t wait until next year to start taking this race seriously. I’m not taking anything for granted, and frankly, I hope you won’t either.
