Yesterday — alongside colleagues, advocates, and borrowers — I rallied at the Supreme Court to demand that the Court uphold the law and clear the way for student debt cancellation.
43 million borrowers stand to benefit from this critical relief. But if the Court sides with Republicans and blocks the President’s action, all those borrowers will continue to suffer under often crushing debt.
It’s more important than ever to keep up the pressure and continue organizing in support of this critical, life-saving policy.
Student debt cancellation is a racial justice issue. An economic justice issue. A gender justice issue.
President Biden’s student debt cancellation plan is legal, it’s transformative, and we won’t stop fighting until millions of borrowers are freed from the burden of debt.
