Hello Friend,
Welcome to my e-newsletter, the Ready Room. As a retired Naval Aviator, the Ready Room is special to me because it’s where fellow aviators meet to brief and debrief missions. This is my weekly briefing to you on my mission in Congress. Please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube for regular updates on how my team and I are working to serve you in Congress.
Protecting Servicemembers' Privacy
A recent report revealed that the military service records of two House colleagues who are Air Force veterans and nine others were improperly released to a political opposition research firm. Both the request and release of some information in these records may be in violation of the Privacy Act or the Freedom of Information Act. Veterans should never be concerned about personal information being released in violation of the law. As a Navy veteran, I'm appalled by any attempt to use military service for political gain and condemn the Air Force's unacceptable oversight of their records release process. I will work with my colleagues to provide rigorous oversight to ensure it doesn't happen again. Click here to learn more.

As an 11th grader, Suchi is currently ranked first in her class. Winning this competition is a testament to her skills and creativity in app development. We can't wait to see what she will accomplish in the future. Great job, Suchi! Click here to learn more about myRx.
