2020 has been a whirlwind so far. President Trump’s impeachment trial is underway. And the Iowa Caucuses are just 11 days out (nurses at NNU have been hard at work trying to help make sure Bernie wins).
But that’s not all. Coming up on February 12th, we’ve got an exciting development to share in the fight to win Medicare for All.
I’m not allowed to dish out all the details just yet, but after the tremendous success we had in 2019 at winning 119 cosponsors on our Medicare for All legislation in the US House of Representatives, we’re so excited to start the next phase of our Medicare for All campaign. Let’s just say it involves taking on the corporate opposition in a much more direct fashion.
With the Democratic primaries quickly approaching, it is crucial that we continue to build the movement for Medicare for All, and take that fight to the next level. We know that, regardless of who wins the primary, we will need a robust movement in order to ultimately win and pass this legislation.
Our opponents in the corporate world continue to spend millions across the country as they grow their anti-reform coalition of corporations and groups profiting off the crisis.
As always, we are eternally grateful for your continued support and presence in this movement.
Looking forward to talking again real soon.
