Sherrod Brown is for real. Look, I know we've said this a few times already, but we happen to have some of our best Senators up and vulnerable this time—Jon Tester, Tammy Baldwin and, yes, Sherrod Brown—we elected a lot of great Democrats in 2018 and now we’re going to have to defend those seats.

There are very few Senators who display the courage Sen. Brown does on a daily basis. He steps forward with his raspy voice, tousled hair and jeans tuxedo--as we like to joke--and he's every bit a guy on a factory floor that Jon Tester is on a farm.

I humbly ask you to join the Blue Amp Action in supporting this incredibly courageous Senator w/ $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can. We are lucky to have him, and we really don't want to find out what it's like not to.

Brown is a leader. It would be easy to play the role of a moderate in a state that has trended from purple to purplish-red, but he's refused to do so. It's hard to explain just how important it is to have one of the most liberal Senators in the whole body come from a purplish-red state.

Character. Courage. Compassion. Sherrod was early to East Palestine, where a majority didn't vote for him, because that's him. He called out Northfolk Southern, Trump deregulation, DeWine's lack of state of emergency and, most importantly, ensured cameras shared with the American people what East Palestine needed.

Yet, at the same time, he loudly supports the effort for an Ohio Amendment to ensure abortion access, speaks out to protect the LGBTQ and Black communities as books are banned and bigotry spouted.

Sherrod, as we like to call him here in Ohio, isn't just there when it's convenient. In fact, he's there more often when it's not. I can't adequately communicate the loss it'd be to the Senate, our party & America to lose him from the Senate.
