R E M I N D E R: The FCDC Reorganization Meeting is Tuesday, January 28th at 7:30pm at James Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Dr., Vienna, VA 22181. The purpose of the Reorganization Meeting of the Fairfax Democrats is to elect FCDC Leadership and pass new Bylaws. It is open to the public but participation is limited to FCDC members who applied by December 1st, 2019 and who were elected at their December district reorganization caucuses.  

Absentee voting for the March 3 Democratic Presidential Primary is in-progress from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Conference Room 2/3 of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. More information below.

Please join us and guest speaker Congressman Gerry Connolly at this social gathering to help replenish resources of the Abe and Lilyan Spero Memorial Fund. The Spero Fund was established by FCDC in 2011 with an initial gift from the Spero estate to honor the memories of lifelong Democrats and Providence District residents Abe and Lilyan Spero. The Fund awards grants to help defray costs of community projects that promote voter registration of young Democrats in Fairfax County and encourage them to become regular and active voters.

FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS: You are eligible to register to vote if you are:

  • A citizen of the United States;
  • At least 18 years of age by the November 3 general election;*
  • A resident of Virginia;

*Please note that town elections (Herndon, Vienna, Clifton) require the voter to be 18 years of age by Election Day, rather than by the next November general election.

Participate in Governor Northam‘s 2019–2020 Governor’s High School Voter Registration Challenge through the nonpartisan partner organization, League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area, and click on your high school.
