Social Security Works is Fighting to Protect and Expand Social Security’s Earned Benefits
Social Security is wildly popular among Americans of all political persuasions, yet conservative politicians in Congress have released plans to cut, privatize, and destroy Social Security.
Luckily, our long-time allies and March grantees at Social Security Works are fighting back. Funding from CREDO members this month will help SSW fight to make sure that Social Security and Medicare aren’t just protected from reckless cuts — but expanded — and they will pressure all members of Congress to pledge to never cut these critical programs.
