Friend, We’re gearing up to pave the way for a statewide reduction in healthcare costs. It is our privilege to be working with fierce healthcare advocates like Nevada’s very own Gina Glass. Join Gina and support lowering prescription drug costs in Nevada! Gina Glass’s 3-year-old daughter, Gia, has Sickle Cell Anemia. Sickle Cell is a blood disorder that causes misshapen blood cells that block blood flow, causing painful attacks called “crises”. Gia was diagnosed at birth. Gina cares for her daughter full-time but without affordable medication and care, Gina would not be able to keep Gia stable and thriving. Gia created DreamSickle Kids Foundation, Nevada’s first sickle cell anemia organization. Come support Gina and the effort to lower prescription drugs at this month's interim legislative hearing on the costs of prescription drugs on Thursday, January 30, 2020. When: The first hearing will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 10:00 am Where: Southern NV - Room 4401 of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building, 555 E. Washington Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
