I’m sorry to reach out to you so late. So, I’ll try to keep this quick: The Democratic National Committee is at risk of falling short of our February fundraising goal and we only have a few hours left before the midnight deadline to close the gap.

The DNC has to report what we raise to the Federal Election Commission on a monthly basis. That means the amount we raise before midnight tonight will be public. (And you better bet that Republicans will be paying close attention to that number and what it means about the strength of our party.)

We’re still counting on 6 more folks from your area to chip in before midnight to help hit the DNC’s February goal. Your donation could be the one that puts our party over the top. Could you chip in $7 before the midnight deadline?

I wouldn’t be reaching out now if this weren’t so important. I know I can rely on you, but there isn’t much time left before midnight.
