AOC is right, wage theft is a national epidemic taking money out of the pockets of workers who need it most. Here in DC, organizers, workers, and advocates have fought hard to enact better laws and hold employers accountable. Just last week the Office of the Attorney General reached a $2.75 million settlement with Power Design, inc after DC JWJ and the Just Pay Coalition raised the the alarm about their activity in DC. This was a major victory for workers but we need to continue organizing! Can you join our allies at Many Languages One Voice (MLOV) this Sunday for a shift of wage theft canvassing?

Wage theft canvassing is simple, Megan from MLOV will run through a quick training and then you can get to work talking to folks about their rights. As part of the canvass we will be promoting our upcoming Pay Stub Clinic, an educational event that teaches folks how to spot wage theft on a pay stub.
