In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in $15 to my campaign. But first, let me explain why.

I am the only Democrat currently representing Alabama in Congress. I’m working tirelessly in Congress to defend voting rights, secure access to quality healthcare, and support public education.

But while I’m fighting for legislation to help Americans, Republicans are fighting to stall progress at every turn.

By failing to improve health care access, by restricting reproductive rights, and by ignoring working families, Republicans are costing Americans their lives.

That’s why tonight’s midnight fundraising deadline is so critical: It’s our chance to show the strength of the movement we’re building — and I need you with me.

So today, I’m personally asking you: Will you chip in $15 to my campaign so we can be prepared for whatever Republicans try to hurl our way?
