** How Can We Really Listen to Students?
------------------------------------------------------------
Students are at the center of our work at Challenge Success, ([link removed]) and finding authentic ways to uncover what they are feeling and thinking is critical to supporting their well-being and growth.

To better understand students’ experiences in and out of school, we encourage schools and families to “listen in” by implementing exercises like the “I Wish” campaign (#wish) , taking our Student Survey ([link removed]) , and requiring that students be part of our School Program teams ([link removed]) .

Keep reading to hear honest perspectives from students (#honest) and explore strategies that parents and educators (#cptc) can use to listen more deeply to student voice.

Warmly,
The Challenge Success Team

Strategies to Support Student Well-Being and Engagement with Learning
Challenge Success ([link removed]) partners with schools, families, and communities to embrace a broad definition of success and to implement research-based strategies that promote student well-being and engagement with learning. We believe that our society has become too focused on grades, test scores, and performance, leaving little time for kids to develop the skills necessary to become independent, resilient, and ethical individuals.
