SCOTUS is reviewing the Biden student loan forgiveness continue reading

John, oral arguments begin today on the Student Loan Debt Forgiveness plan from the Biden administration. With a conservative majority on the Supreme court, the plan is at risk of being struck down.

The GOP has consistently made the argument that the burden of debt forgiveness will fall on the taxpayers, however, the debt is owned by the government. Economists have stated that forgiving student loan debt would BOOST the economy and give people the opportunity to start a new chapter with less debt, and more available credit.

The overall argument, however, is that it isn't fair to give students loan forgiveness when others have paid off their debts. But this thinking is already a part of the policy - it is both income-based and based on the types of loans a student qualified for during their secondary education.

We believe that people should be able to go through life without the devastating constraints of massive debt - unable to move or progress because they wanted to have secondary education.
Can you give to No Dem Left Behind today and help us to reach rural voters, and spread the word about these important policies?

John, we CAN make an impact if we let people know which party is voting for their best interests. Voters deserve to know who will be supporting them on pay equality and economic opportunities. We all deserve a chance at making our lives better - so let's get the right people in place to make it happen!
