We’re at the end of our first full month on the campaign trail. This is the moment we need to prove that our campaign has staying power — that our momentum is still growing and that North Carolinians are enthusiastic about our vision. Meeting all our fundraising targets, like our monthly goals, is key.

We make all our campaign plans based on our projected fundraising strength. If we fall short, we have to make hard decisions about what to cut. I don’t want to have to make those decisions this early into our campaign.
