Dear John,
What do the impeachment trial and petitions have in common? They both spell the end of Cory Gardner in November.
On Tuesday, Gardner voted along party lines barring the Senate from subpoenaing the White House for crucial documents regarding the impeachment trial and from calling witnesses with first-hand knowledge of Trump’s intentions to bribe Zelinsky. We will not forget this vote come November.
Tuesday also marked the first day of gathering signatures to get Lorena on the Democratic Primary Ballot so we can replace Cory with a people-centered and people-powered candidate. Our Petition Signing Kickoff Party was spectacular, resulting in hundreds of signatures and dozens of volunteers armed with democracy (petitions)! |

Our grassroots campaign is inspiring people across the state, not just because they want to get rid of Gardner, but because they want to see the Party embrace a new kind of politician. We want someone who is unapologetic about championing Medicare for All, a Green New Deal and Campaign Finance Reform. We want Lorena!
We need Lorena. We need someone who will stand up for us, even when we don’t know our rights and privileges are under attack. We need someone to look out for ALL of us, especially those who have been pushed to the margins. We need Lorena.
We need to support Lorena. Taking on the establishment isn’t going to be easy, but we can do it. Right now, all it takes is a signature from everyone who is ready for a change to get Lorena on the ballot. Will you chip in $2.57 to sponsor a signature, or better yet, $25.70 to sponsor a page of signatures to get Lorena on the ballot? |

It’s been an honor working with Lorena and meeting so many amazing people who are ready for change. Over a year’s worth of organizing has led us to this point and now it’s time for us to step up for Lorena the same way she’s been stepping up for us all these years, and the same we she’s going to step up for us in the Senate. Now let’s get to work and get her there!
