Joyce Karam is the Washington Correspondent for The National <[link removed]> and an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University. A native of Lebanon, Karam has covered the Arab world extensively for years, and has also covered U.S. politics and American foreign policy in the Middle East since 2004.
