Not to exaggerate, but the context here is the far right’s very real desire to set off a new Civil War. For us at CTP, these moments only confirm how important it is that we kick this reckless, embarrassing, radical extremist out of Congress.
And there are more than a few Republican voters in Colorado’s 3rd District who agree.
Some folks might think this particular tweet seems more academic than objectionable in the scheme of things. But what is she getting at with her declaration?
Her so-called Constitutional Republic idea rests on the notion that some section of Americans should be silenced, while the people’s representatives are the only ones whose voices matter. Democratic principles built the middle class; gave women and non-white people the right to vote; and created the prosperous nation we now have that Boebert disgraces while in Congress.
Right now it’s banning abortion, tormenting trans people, and finding ways to punish those who vocalize what they deem as ‘woke’ ideas that her crowd is focused on.
