I have spent my entire career as an organizer -- from fighting for workers' rights to advocating for policies that uplift working families. Both taught me that when it comes to breaking down barriers, you never give up when things get tough.

And that's precisely what we're doing here at EMILYs List -- never giving up in the fight for reproductive freedom by electing fierce women leaders at all levels of government.

For me, this mission is personal. I want my daughter to grow up in a world where her reproductive rights are protected. I remember dropping her off at school the day Roe v. Wade was overturned. That day, my daughter would return home less free than when I had dropped her off that morning. I was angry.

But I am also filled with hope and determination because I know we can restore and protect reproductive rights.
