Friend – When we think about community, we think about the power of people coming together to demand change, sustain our movements, and transform our communities into places where we all have the opportunity to thrive. That is why this year's conference – our first opportunity to gather together in person in four years – puts community first. Join us in Sacramento from Saturday, April 22, through Monday, April 24.
The conference will include two inspiring days of speakers, art installations, community-building spaces, and workshops on topics like alternatives to police, reproductive justice, and housing for all, to give you the tools to help you make change in your community. On Monday, April 24, we are hosting a small lobby day to meet with lawmakers from a handful of districts on bold and critical legislation. If you live in one of these districts, we may reach out to you to join a lobby visit and provide you with all the training and support you need to lobby successfully. Find out if we're looking for lobby day volunteers from your district! We can't wait to see you! In community, The ACLU of Northern California Organizing Team |
