Friend,
Having you as a friend is a godsend, and I'm always grateful for you, especially in times like these.
The cost of living continues to creep up and up, for groceries, rent payments, filling up for gas. Add to that, lost pay from missed work, a health issue with no money to support treatment, or higher than budgeted utility bills. It's pushing many Americans to their breaking point, and some, past it.
The generous support of our VOA network has given real help and hope to thousands of people. People desperate for the most basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter, and a path forward.
Can we count on your support this year, Friend?
Ricky is a self-made type, and never imagined having to rely on someone else. But rising costs and financial strains pressed him into crisis. He lost his home…then his hope. He eventually ended up on the streets.
Together with your kindness and support, VOA provided Ricky meals, shelter, and other critical resources. He re-found hope and rebuilt his life, being true to his independent spirit.
Your gift of $50 or $100 will go far - even $10, whatever you can afford - for veterans, seniors, and children in your area. More than ever, the need is great, as is the opportunity for you make a direct impact!
Thank you again for being such a true friend to all your neighbors in need at VOA.
Gratefully, Tanisha Smith Vice President, Volunteers of America
VOA has delivered services with determination and success in communities across America for over 125 years, helping people rebuild their lives in the wake of crisis. Thank you for your continued support!
