When I was sworn in last month, I took Madison Cawthorn’s spot as the youngest member of the House -- and made history as the first member of Generation Z to be elected to Congress.

A lot of folks wrote me off and said I was too young, but I’ve been fighting for our most vulnerable communities for over 10 years.

From protecting voting and abortion rights at the ACLU to fighting to end the gun violence epidemic as the National Organizing Director at March for Our Lives, I’ve faced off with Republican lawmakers who care more about politics than our lives.

And now, I’m bringing that same fight for a better future to the halls of the United States Congress.

But my House Republican colleagues have made it clear they would rather hold meaningless investigations and wage pointless culture wars than work with Democrats to pass beneficial, common-sense legislation.

So it’s never been clearer: If we want any shot at creating a better future for my generation and all Americans, then we need to elect House Democrats who will fight to put people over politics.

My friends at the DCCC are working to take back the People’s Gavel from Kevin McCarthy and flip the House, but they can’t do it without your help.
