A new CNN poll shows that not only do the vast majority of Americans (69% to 29%) think the Senate should hear new witnesses before ending the impeachment trial, but 51% of Americans also support the Senate convicting and removing Trump all together.

What's more, while Mitch McConnell designed the Senate trial to speed up Trump's acquittal, POLITICO suggests that up to seven Republican senators might stand up to Trump and McConnell and demand new witnesses like John Bolton testify.
