Elect Katie Hobbs

John,

I want to take a moment to share my story with you, but if you’re short on time and want to support my work to make Arizona a better place for all, please consider pitching in ahead of tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.

Growing up, I’ll be honest, my family struggled. Just like many middle-class families, we had periods of financial uncertainty. As a young girl in Tempe, my family sometimes relied on support – like food stamps – to make ends meet.

We reached out to our community church for help, and looking back now, I know that’s where my appreciation and dedication to service and supporting others came from.

From volunteering at my church to working at one of the nation’s largest domestic violence shelters, I learned and cherished the value of giving back to your community, the same way my community gave back to me.

It was through my social work that I also saw firsthand how the failures of our elected officials negatively impact the lives of everyday Arizonans. From seeing folks struggle to pay medical bills, provide for their kids, or be forced to work multiple jobs in order to keep up with bills, I knew something had to change.

So I decided to run for office, and I haven’t lost an election since.

Now, as Arizona’s 24th Governor, I’m working to right the wrongs of past elected officials, I’m prioritizing everyday working families, and I’m leading with empathy, unity, and sanity – all qualities that my former opponent lacked.

I’m doing everything in my power to deliver solutions to the problems Arizonans are facing, but I can’t do this work alone. Can you pitch in before tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline to help me continue pushing for progress?
