Hey team -- I just talked to Fred, and we know you have questions about our work and why it is so crucial for our fair maps movement.
The best way to explain our work is by answering these three questions:
➡️ How have our mapping tools helped fair redistricting processes? ➡️ How does our work involve communities of interest? ➡️ Why do we believe this work is so important and should be supported? |
First, our team has developed an extensive geospatial analytics toolbox. These tools have equipped us to rapidly identify gerrymandering using data-driven metrics and measure the extent of gerrymandering across the country.
When it comes to something as important as fair maps, looking at a district map just doesn’t cut it -- you need additional resources and data to understand the real impact of district lines on communities of interest and political representation.
Next, communities of interest are at the heart of what we do. In addition to our data-driven approach, we help support and train volunteers to equip them with the tools to fight for fair maps in their communities.
Last, with conservative extremists trying every way to gerrymander their way to maintain unearned power, the fight for fair maps is more important now than ever.
Although last year’s elections took place on the fairest U.S. House map in 40 years, there are still gerrymandered states where voters aren’t fairly represented. Rush a donation today to All On The Line to help us reach our end-of-month goal and continue the fight for fair maps >>

This is why I’m proud to be on a team of mapping experts working to end gerrymandering and ensure the use of fair maps in elections. And without your support, we will not have the funding to continue developing these necessary resources so that we are equipped to defend democracy. Even $5 makes a difference -- chip in whatever you can today to do your part.
We can’t do this important work without you, team.
